ATOUTS COURS, A MOVEMENT

More than a non profit association, we are a movement that covers needs normally handled by public services that are too often congested. Our vocation, assistance, reception and access to rights, places us at the forefront of action in favour of the most disadvantaged whom we help with all our strength on a daily basis.

Since 1997, we have been welcoming people from all over the world to our French workshops. It is a first door open throughout the year for those who are fleeing wars, cataclysms and all forms of misfortune that were their daily life… With an outstretched hand, we help them to better integrate into our world so different from theirs and that we participate in making them discover.

This is why our permanent entry and exit approach allows refugees, to name but a few, to find at any time a platform, a springboard, likely to accompany them in their new lives! With already more than a hundred language workshops per week, we can take in hand more than 1000 people each year in our different levels of French language and pedagogical approach.

Our 120 volunteers work to share our culture and way of life with all these newcomers who meet us to help them better integrate into society.

OUR TEAM

Robert-Charles Chemoul founded the association in 1997. He is the general coordinator of actions and manages external relations.

Managing Director of the school “ La Bonne Graine” in Paris, he is the president of the organisation.

A long-standing member of the association’s communication team, she manages the social networks and participates in internal coordination.

A Parisian historian and expert on built heritage, he is the director of the association Le Geste d’Or. He advises Atouts Cours in its external development.
